Performance dreams meaning

To dream of a dramatic performance represents feelings about having to impress people with a believable or convincing public display. Impressing people as the centre of attention. Making a believable announcement. Acting, pretending, a display of professionalism, or intentionally projecting yourself believably in a way that is not really who you are. Feeling that a professional persona is important to impress people for business reasons. Announcements, promotions, being popular, being loud, or enjoying being the centre of attention. Some part of your life is “on the line” based on how believable or convincing you are.

Negatively, dreaming about a dramatic performance represents projecting yourself in dishonest way which you feel you need to be believable. Acting to get away with something. Faking who you are for personal gain or dishonest reasons. Wasting your time trying to impress people with a convincing display.

To dream of a musical performance represents feelings about having to impress people with a public display that makes them feel good. Trying to make a good impression that makes a lot of people feel good. Concerns with nothing stupid being allowed to make a lot of people feel good at once. Some part of your life is “on the line” based on feelings.

Negatively, dreaming about a musical performance may reflect an excessive or arrogant need to show off trying to make people feel good better than other people can. Manipulating people’s feelings like it’s important. Feeling that nothing matters at all except making people feel good for personal gain. Wasting your time trying to change people’s feelings.

To dream of athletic performance represents feelings about the need to impress people with achieving a goal or being better at something than someone else. Feeling that competing is a very serious issue. Feeling that self-respect or a reputation is “on the line.” Competing in front of other people feels important. Feeling that the most important thing in the world is to showup or be better than someone else.

Example: A man dreamed of being close to making a dramatic performance while on top of a skyscraper. In waking life he was about to release a book he wrote and felt that he would be required to impress people with his professionalism in the media or project himself as an authority in public.
