Looting
To dream of looting (theft) represents feelings about having no fear about being witnessed being dishonest. Dishonesty that is out in the open and obvious with nothing to stop it. Feeling that you deserve to be dishonest and get away with it. Feeling that you deserve to get away with dishonest behavior because your life is unhappy or difficult. Enjoying dishonest behavior. Using a bad situation as an excuse to be dishonest to help yourself. Feeling that it’s okay to seize property or act dishonest because a situation is too dangerous to make it matter. Feeling good never having to pay someone back a debt. Feeling that because your life is difficult you don’t deserve to repay someone or that being dishonest is acceptable. Choosing to be dishonest because other people are. Dishonesty that nobody can do anything to stop. Feeling that people can’t stop you if you choose to be dishonest. Using a bad situation to help yourself with no concern for how it may effect others.
Example: A young man dreamed of seeing people looting. In waking life he had serious debt problems and in the end felt the only way out was to openly refuse to pay back his debts out of desperation. He had no concerns for being witnessed as a dishonest person if it meant he would not have to pay back the debts. He felt that his life was already so bad that he deserved to get away with not paying his debts back.
